PRE-WAX

To get the best wax possible, a little prep goes a long way. Gently exfoliate the area 24 hours before your appointment- this helps remove dead skin and allows the wax to grip the hair more effectively. Hair should be at least the length of a grain of rice (about 1/4 inch) for the wax to work properly. If you are concerned about discomfort, you can take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen about an hour before your session to help minimize sensitivity. Clear skin, the right hair length, and a little prep=smoother results and a more comfortable experience!

POST-WAX

After your wax it's important to care for your skin to maintain results and avoid irritation: Avoid sunbathing, swimming, hot tubs, and excessive sweating for the first 24 hours to prevent sensitivity and breakouts. Keep skin hydrated with gentle fragrance-free moisturizer. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week after 24-48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and keep skin smooth. Don't shave between appointments sticking to a consistent waxing schedule gives you best long term results.
